The defunct restaurant "Golden Sun" in Zeitz
The ruins at Wendische tow / corner Freiligrathstraße in Zeitz, was once a beautiful hotel with restaurant. In GDR times, the building was only used as a restaurant with a bowling alley. After the collapse of the GDR, the end of which had come "Golden Sun" and the restaurant was closed. Extensive renovation work was started, but these were never completed. According to information, the building like so many other beautiful Zeitgeschichtliche should be abgeissen, historic buildings in Zeitz. To date, nothing more can be seen and so once a busy restaurant forfeit zusehens.
