The Old Bakery in Zeitz
The inconspicuous ruin in Schwarzer Weg in a side street in Zeitz falls only on closer inspection. This built in GDR times building should be one of the largest and most modern industrial bakeries of Zeitz originally once. The scale as a low-rise building consists of two floors, but more than the shell it did not come. Not even window or cable were installed. As the end of the GDR came, the work was stillgegt and the construction was never completed. Not a single bread or rolls were baked here. For more than 20 years, never opened bakery is hidden away in Zeitz. A few homeless people, the old buildings have prepared as a shelter.
